Pineywoods Tech, also known as "Pineywoods," is an American computer software development company based in Kingwood, Texas, United States founded in 2005. The name "Pineywoods Tech" comes from the founders family origins in the east Texas area. Pineywoods Tech was founded by a software engineer named Doug Raney.

• Crude Oil Cargo Operations System - The COCOS database is an Internet based application that provides customers with the ability to create and maintain crude oil cargo scheduling and tracking information. The system brings commonality to the Scheduling Operations workflow process, automates reporting used in the process, and increases the quality of work performed by personnel. It also provides access to market pricing data used in trading functions for crude oil cargoes. This system has been implemented as a global distributed application for Sonangol in Houston, London, and Singapore. It is operated under the name (Sonangol Global Trading System) SGTS.
• Notification System for MR - Provides order status notifications and order item availability notifications for users of the OMTI records system.
• B2B Gateway for MR - Provides operations available for third parties to interface with the any MR order tracking system. The data available includes items such as specific status information and order results. This allows third party access to firm specific data, thus opening the capability for third parties to use their own systems and tools to participate in the MR order processing lifecycle.
