Phuong Trach Tower is a proposed 600-meter skyscraper in Hanoi, Vietnam. Upon completion, it is expected to become the tallest building in the country. The tower will rise 108 stories and serve as the centerpiece of a $4.2 billion smart city development in the Dong Anh District. The project is a joint venture between Vietnam's BRG Group and Japan's Sumitomo Corporation.

Construction

Construction of the Tower began on November 10, 2023, marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan. The skyscraper is situated along the Nhat Tan-Noi Bai Highway, connecting Noi Bai International Airport to central Hanoi. It is part of the 272-hectare BRG Smart City project in Dong Anh District, which is being developed in five phases and is expected to be fully completed by 2028. The estimated infrastructure and land cost is around VND33 trillion, approximately $1.55 billion.
