Petr Fort
Petr Fort, Ph.D, born in 1946 in Czech Republic. Doctor, biochemist, nutritionist, specialist both in general and sports nutrition. He has finished Department Of natural scientific science on the Charles University in Prague. Firstly he was working in medical fields – clinical bichemy, experimental immunology. During the next 20 years he was scientific worker of biochemistry, physiology and dietetics of competitive sport. After 1989 he participated in international, scientific congresses concerned such problems like: population boarding or special topics, such as amino acids. After 1995 he cooperated with producers of specialist food by creating recipes of nutritions preparations and diet supplements. He also acted in groups which was focused on Czech Republic sports representation. He lectured on several Czech Republic Universities (Prague, Brno, Olomuniec), actually he is an lecturer of after-diploma education for nutritionists. Since 2001 he has been popularizing nutrition knowledge by regular cooperation with Czech Republic, public television, where he takes part in weekly program „Under the cover”. He also cooperate with Prague clinic of modern geriatrics (so called anty-aging medicine). Till 2009 he wrote 20 books and several dozen of popular science publications and research reports.
