PCCW Solutions (Traditional Chinese characters：電訊盈科企業方案有限公司) is an operating division and the IT and business process outsourcing flagship of HKT Group Holdings Limited (HKT), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of PCCW that holds the PCCW Group's telecom services, media, and IT solutions businesses.

Overview

PCCW Solutions provides a full spectrum of services: data-center hosting and infrastructure design-and-build services; systems integration and consulting services; IT and business process outsourcing. Employing more than 2,300 workers, they are responsible for a growing number of large-scale IT projects in both the public and private sectors, through their outsourcing development centers located in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Xi'an.

PCCW Solutions has delivered complex, mission-critical systems, including the Smart ID Card and Electronic Passport System for the Immigration Department of the Hong Kong SAR Government, Service-oriented Architecture for Dah Sing Bank, credit card backend system for the Bank of China and nationwide Enterprise Resource Planning implementation for China Mobile .

Services

Infrastructure Outsourcing

PCCW Solutions provides hosting and facility management services via data centers in Hong Kong, Beijing, and Guangzhou, and also assists in data center and overall IT infrastructure design as well as operation and skill transfer services. Other infrastructure outsourcing services includes workgroup computer management, remote system and network management, business continuity management and IT security services.

Application Outsourcing

PCCW Solutions also offers services in designing and building applications aimed at meeting customers’ business needs, through the combination of project management practice in Hong Kong with development teams located in mainland China. They also provide application maintenance and management services that are aimed at helping customers free up resources for more strategic projects and other business needs.

Business Process Outsourcing

PCCW Solutions works with clients to offload their non-core business processes, by providing services such as human resources, finance and accounting, CRM and demand management, order fulfillment and document management.

Systems Integration and Consulting Services

PCCW Solutions also offers consulting services, systems development and industry solutions integration whilst drawing on their previous experiences with IT-related projects such as enterprise resource planning, asset management, billing and order management, customer relationship management, smart card and identity management, and web and portal development. Their key focus is on areas of financial services, telecommunications, multinational enterprises, and the public sector.

Technical Services & Infrastructure Solutions

PCCW Solutions has been providing engineering services to the Hong Kong SAR Government and the major public corporations for over 40 years, including technical consultation, supply and installation of telecommunication and electronic equipment, technical operations and round-the-clock system maintenance.

Cloud Computing Services

In addition to the services listed above, PCCW Solutions has also started to provide a full spectrum of cloud computing services since May 2010. By leveraging data center networks in Hong Kong and Mainland China, cloud computing services offered includes those spanning across all five layers of the cloud stack - infrastructure, platform, application, content, and process.
