Paulo De Paulo Lima Ronaldo

Paulo De Paulo Lima Ronaldo (born April 17, 1974 in São Paulo is a Brazilian football (soccer) player. He is an attacking midfielder who currently pundits in Holland.

Brazilian professional footballer and pundit who spent most of his playing career in the Dutch first division. Most notoriously known because of the 1995 and 1996 UEFA Champions League Final's where he was an un-used sub. This disappointment inevitably resulted in him leaving the club after a dispute with Danny Blind who wasn't happy with his commitment in the warm up.

This concluded in him signing a contract with N.E.C. Nijmegen just 24 hours after the match where he would then join on a bosman free before the 1997-1998 season, a decision which saw him exiled to the reserves.

Upon Arrival at N.E.C. Nijmegen he was given the number 19 shirt because his preferred number 9 shirt was reserved for Peter Ndlovu who subsequently never arrived.

He spent the next 6 years there playing 111 games and scoring 19 times as well as twice against his old club Ajax in which he gestured to Danny Blind and called him a "Scheet". Danny Blind released a statement in national newspapers the next day claiming Lima was "Rubs" or rubbish the dispute continues.
