Pasig Christian Academy
Pasig Christian Academy (PCA) is a private non-sectarian elementary and high school located at Caniogan Pasig City, Philippines. It was founded in 1988 under the name of Sunbeam Playschool and managed by the administrations of Pasig Christian Academy. Its high school building were located along Masanga compound or front of Rizal High School and its elementary building was located at the back of its high school building.
History
Pasig Christian Academy was established in 1988 with a name Sunbeam Playschool and Grade school. that name was taken in the school hymn entitled, Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam. Enrollment was only one dozen concrete building with four rooms. the side rooms were occupied by the nursery and kindergarten. while the centered room was a music/library room. Beginning its development, a large two-storey concrete building was established and completed during the 1994 - 1995 school year. In the 1993 - 1994 school year, the high school department was established and changed its name to Pasig Christian Academy, both signifying status and goals. The name Sunbeam Playschool and Grade school is retained to its category and classified as a subsidiary of Pasig Christian Academy. Other structures were already existed and being utilized for various school facilities such as library, clinic, speech laboratory, audio-visual room, etc. These were located in Dr. Sixto Antonio Avenue, inside the Masanga compound which infronting Rizal high school. Today, PCA is a full - fledged institution that offers Preschool, Elementary and High school. The founder of the school is Dr. Isagani C. Masanga who wants to keep alive the IDeaS that they inherited from there late father, Santiago Teofilo Masanga who was have a mission and a dedicated church leader, are heartened by the growth of PCA and are ever thankful to the good Lord for His continued blessing and guidance.
