E-Ness vs. Hollowman

An unscheduled battle with a hometown street legend named E-Ness, propelled Hollowman to the rap forefront and limelight in Philly. The Paper Chasas put out numerous mixtapes' and were local favorites at all the open mic’s and “industry nights”.

Other accomplishments

Now, with the exposure of the DVD battle with Ness, there were more demands on Hollow, whether more DVD guest appearances or request for features on mixtapes. Hollowman has done collaborations with Gillie Da Kid, Reed Dollaz, Freeway and many others since he first came onto the scene. Hollow teamed up with fellow PC member Nickelz and put out a double CD called: H& R Block Party. The single P-H-I got local support from power 99 and DJ Cosmic Kev stated : “Paper Chasas is one of the next to blow”.

After Hurricane Katrina hit, Nickelz penned "Is It Just Me". Hollowman and Nickelz were featured in the Philadelphia Daily News for their support of the victims. Hollowman has also been featured in a Philadelphia Weekly blog, mentioned in a Nobody Smiling.com review of a Big Star mixtape, and Complex Magazine. Paper Chasas put out their own DVD called “Bananas” in 2004, selling over 6000, despite the bootleggers.
