Pablo Gimenez Riili
Pablo Gimenez Riili was born and raised in Mendoza, Argentina involved in his family's wine business. The Gimenez family has been in the wine industry since 1945, when his grandfather Pedro planted the first family vineyard in Maipu. After a career in law and real estate, Pablo opened the Gimenez Riili winery with his brothers.
Career
In 2004, he met Michael Evans and in 2006 they together co-founded a winemaking enterprise with investors in the Uco Valley called The Vines of Mendoza. Riili, Evans, and investors purchased 900 acres of land in the Uco Valley, and created The Vines of Mendoza’s Private Vineyard Estates.
Riili and Evans also established The Vines of Mendoza Tasting Room that provides 100 rare Argentine wines in one location in addition to The Acequia Wine Club and The Vines Online Wine Store.
