P. Ramachandran Nair

P. Ramachandran Nair (born 1952) is a social activist and politician hailing from Thiruvavanthapuram in the state of Kerala, India. Though he was born in Paravoor, his parents shifted to Thiruvananthapuram when he was three years old and he has lived there since. He has been a resident of Sreevaraham, a place near to East fort. He is the Left Democratic Front candidate from the constituency of Thiruvananthapuram in the Lok Sabha election of 2009. He owes allegiance to the Communist Party of India (CPI) and has been ACTIVE in several youth movements and people's fronts over the years.

In the past, he has served as CPI's Trivandrum district secretary for six years, District secretary of the Agricultural Workers union and working committee member of All India Trade Union Conference.
