Ozebooks
Ozebooks is the production arm of the Australian Industrial Archives. Due to the size and mundane nature of construction equipment it is often omitted from museum collections. To date in Australia no puplic museum exists to preserve any significant earthmoving collection. In order to ensure some of the heritage was preserved the non-profit Australian Industrial Archive was formed to house a large collection of promotional literature and pictures. The archive now houses over 50 thousand items. Ozebooks was set up to convert this printed material into digital ebooks so that the history is available to future generations. Reference disks are then stored at the Historic Construction Equipment Association in Bowling Green Ohio in the United States of America. The Australian Industrial Archives regularly contributes historical articles to magazines
