Owen Spencer Keogh

Owen Spencer Keogh (born August 12, 1982) is a former American child actor and teen idol. He is most widely known for his role on the American TV series Home Improvement. In it, he played the fourth and youngest brother of the Taylor family. He has also had a few guest appearances on Veronica Mars. However, many of these episodes never aired, as a fellow guest star Johnathan Taylor Thomas (a co-star of Owen's on 'Home Improvement'') provoked Owen's known temper, and caused a few wild arm gesticulations and fistfights.

Early Life & Schooling

Owen was born in the poor, urban neighborhood of Mount Pleasant in Newark, New Jersey to Armenian parents. He attended a local public school, where he suffered daily beatings for being an Irish son of Armenian descended parents. He graduated from Technology High School in Newark in 2001. He enrolled in Rutgers University in the fall of 2001, but dropped out after one semester. It is reported that he found the school too rigorous.

Current Life

Owen is currently not acting, after the incidents on the set of Veronica Mars, but he is currently managing a death metal band in Northern New Jersey. He is currently engaged to a daughter of the actor and comedian Sinbad. The couple plans a spring 2008 wedding.

Trivia

Owen is an avid bass fisherman, and spends almost every weekend fishing.

He has the 16th largest model train collection in New Jersey.

Once fought Johnathan Taylor Thomas on the set of Home Improvement. Owen won the fight, knocking out 4 of Taylor's teeth. Taylor's distinct lisp has been credited to the missing teeth from the fight.
