Oplove

Operation: Love ReUnited (or Oplove) is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit organization dedicated to military personnel and military families who are going to be experiencing a deployment, are currently deployed, or who will be returning home.

History

The organization was founded by Colorado Native, Tonee Lawrence in 2006 after her own husband returned from a deployment in 2005. Operation: Love ReUnited (OpLove) is the original organization and idea of the service provided. OpLove, at any given time, has approximately 1,000+ professional boutique photographers registered and volunteering with the organization. They have helped hundreds of thousands of military families and personnel capture tender moments and emotions that otherwise would not have been possible.

How IT Works

These photographers donate their time by waiving their session fees (up to two per client per year and deployment) and send a 4x6 album of prints from the session overseas to the deployed military member at no charge to the client. The organization successfully helps boost the moral of the military members who are way from their families. It has been a proven accomplished effort that grows daily as awareness spreads.

Board of Administrators

OpLove has an administration board of 9, consisting of a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, an IT specialist and adviser, and 5 board members. Most of the board of administration consists of individuals who in one way or another are associated with the military.
