History
OnePure SkinCare was started in Dubai by Canadian born Layla Mandi in 2009. The brand was developed around the realization that most cosmetics and skin care products contain ‘haram’ ingredients, namely, alcohol, pork and animal bi-products which according to Islamic Law are forbidden. OnePure offers a range of halal-certified cosmetics and skin care products specifically formulated for the skin-type and climate of the Middle East and GCC. The product launched on Saudi Airlines in July 2009 with a Travel Collection. It can be found in small retail outlets in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE, in Cairo, Egypt, and is available for purchase from the company’s website. You can also buy it at the famed french department store Galaries Lafaytte!
