Olga Obukhova

Obukhova Olga (; born August 10, 1941 in Stupino, Moscow Oblast, Russia is a Russian journalist, writer and translator.

Olga Obukhova has authored twenty fiction books, including science fiction.

Early life

  • Olga Obukhova is the daughter of Ivan Zamchevsky, the former Communist Party secretary of Leningrad and Soviet Ambassador to Yugoslavia.
  • In 1962 she graduated from Moscow State University of International Relations.

Literary and professional activity

  • In 1992-1996 she worked in Denmark.
  • She is the wife of the Russian Ambassador to Denmark Alexey Obukhov.
  • When in Denmark, she became a friend of Prince Dimitry Romanoff (of Romanoff Fund for Russia) and his wife Dorrit Reventlov. Olga Obukhova participates in the charity activities of Romanov Fund for Russia.

She is the author of several books, mainly geography and travel and love novels for women. She publishes her love novels under the name of Della Swanholm http://lib.aldebaran.ru/author/svanholm_della/.

  • Olga Obukhova is the member of the Edinaya Rossiya political party for the Moscow city district of Yakimanka.
