Old Catholic Confederation

The Old Catholic Confederation (OCC) is a "union of traditional, orthodox Old Catholic Churches and Dioceses" in ecumenical partnership with the Anglican Communion Church of the Province of West Africa. According to its 2013 census, its membership includes AbOUT 150,000 Christians in many countries around the world, and especially in North and South America.

Founded under the leadership of Bishop Craig J. N. de Paulo in Philadelphia, in February 2013, with Bishop Rodney R. Michel as its episcopal visitor. Currently, the consists of six national jurisdictions and ten member Churches, between Union of Utrecht member Churches and Anglican Communion member Churches.

In December 2013, the and the Church of the Province of West Africa announced that Solomon Tilewa Johnson became the Patron of the , recognizing it as a "distinct Old Catholic Christian community" in ecumenical partnership with the Church of West Africa and the Anglican Communion. At the same time, Johnson appointed and licensed de Paulo, President of the Synod of Bishops of the , as his episcopal commissary for North America.

Governance

The is governed by an international Synod of Bishops,
