Olaf "Rob" Robrecht

Olaf Robrecht (born in Hagen, Germany, November 1, 1971) started his career after his studies in art and design in Germany. In 1995 he joined the editorial team of the international Art Scene International 1 magazine, published in four languages and became assistant editor in 1998. In 2003 the magazine was renamed into “Art Scene International” and Olaf became editorial director. Olaf Robrecht still worked as a freelance illustrator, mainly in the technical field. First with his “Robrecht Art Studio” and later, after moving to British Columbia, Canada, as “Rob”, he started to pursue his fine art automotive paintings and won several international awards. His list of clients includes well-known companies and individuals such as Planet Hollywood, Easyriders Europe, Roeder Friends, R&T, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, The Heyda Group, David Copperfield and Arnold Schwarzenegger to name but a few.

Rob now lives in Peachland, British Columbia, Canada where he found the ideal place to paint his artwork. Olaf Robrecht still runs the Art Scene International magazine as editorial director and founded Cariboo Holdings, a company creating brochures, layouts and signs and promoting several businesses all over the world.
