Octopunch

Octopunch is a fictional character from the Transformers universes.

Transformers: Generation 1

Octopunch is "Terror of the Deep". He has a small gun and a big gun. Octopunch is a crab creature that feels like metal. He has a helmet. On Shell Attack mode he is armed with vice-like tentacles that can stick to any surface, his mask and helmet. Octopunch can wrestle whales to a standstill. Octopunch doesn't steal treasure or find artifacts in the ocean - he normally wrecks cruise ships or submarines. Sometimes he sticks on them. He is noted for being able to stick to objects.

Comics

Octopunch appears first in the Marvel U.K. comics as part of the 'Mayhem Attack Squad'. They encounter the Dinobots. He appears several issues later, where the Squad's activities are put on hold when they are distracted by the National Guard. Later, an incident causes Ocotpunch to fire a shot which wakes up the entity known as Primus; his panicked reaction wakens the planet eating Unicron. The character also appears in "Transformers" #71 - "Surrender!" (October 1990).
