Nuna International BV

Nuna International BV is a company which sells a collection of baby gear created by Dutch designers.

History

Nuna was founded in 2007 by a father of two who wanted to combine style with functionality, but could not find products that fit his needs. He traveled to the Netherlands and created Nuna.

Products

Nuna’s core product line consists of a buggy, a baby seat and a high chair.

In 2010 Nuna launched the LEAF baby seat in the juvenile market. The first of its kind, that can be used from birth on, with a movement more natural than the typical regular rocking and bouncing movements of most baby seats, the LEAF also needs no motor, electricity, or battery to operate.

Nuna filed 7 patent applications between april 2009 and april 2011.

Awards and recognitions

LEAF

In 2009 Nuna's LEAF baby seat was nominated for the Kind + Jugend Innovation Award in the World of Moving Baby category and won the 2009 Baby & Barn Award in the Baby Develops category. It also received a honourable mention at the Red Dot Awards in the product design division in 2010. In 2010 it won the Belgium Baby Innovation Award and in 2011 it won the Netherlands Baby Innovation Award.
