Out of Bounds with David Eddy and Marvis Jenkins

David A. Eddy is currently a third-year law student at Nova Southeastern University seeking his juris doctorate in the Spring of 2008. David has spent the past two summers working with circuit court judges in Florida’s Fifth Judicial Circuit, learning the intricacies of the criminal law system. In addition, David is currently the CEO of Southern Living Renewables, LLC., a company dedicated to the expansion and distribution of various forms of alternative energy technologies. David is currently an active member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society (SELS), Phi Alpha Delta law school fraternity, and the Celtic American Law Society (CALS).

On WLAW, David co-hosts the popular sports talk show Out of Bounds – a show focused on current events in the world of sports. Having played football, soccer, and baseball (1999 5A 1st Team All-State; 1997-98 1st Team All-Dixie) during high school, David is well-versed in many different facets of the sports world. David continued his athletic career as a recruited walk-on football player at Florida State University, playing for two years before a wrist injury abruptly ended his playing days. During his time in garnet and gold, David won a National Championship (1999) and two ACC Championships (1999; 2000.

David’s love and knowledge of sports is noticeable during the live segments taped with co-host Marvis Jenkins. Their off-air friendship is readily apparent as the pair offer their often conflicting views AbOUT the realities of the sports world.
