NouvEON Technology Partners (branded as NouvEON) is a Management Consulting and Information Technology Consulting firm headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. The company focuses on providing high-end consulting services at reduced cost for its clients. Most of NouvEON's employees are consultants with a background at a larger Professional Services companys who became weary of travelling to distant clients.
History
NouvEON first opened for business in February 2003 in Charlotte, NC by former “Big 4” consulting firm and information technology executives. The vision was to combine the services larger consultancies offer with a smaller business model to create a unique company. Today, NouvEON offers business and technology solutions and recently launched four practice areas: energy and utilities, financial services, Charlotte, and Raleigh. In addition to the company headquarters in Charlotte, there is also an office in Raleigh, NC and a virtual office in Jacksonville, FL.
T.J. Eberle, president and chief executive officer, started NouvEON in 2003 with this friend Jeff Hobensack.
NouvEON has experienced growth and national attention. NouvEON made Inc. (magazine)'s Inc. 5000 list of the nation’s fastest growing private companies for the second year running in a row. The Entrex Private Company Index (PCI) has awarded NouvEON with a Top Ten Growth Award for six consecutive quarters between 2008 and 2009.
Locally, it was recognized as the 2009 Top Small Business in Charlotte by Business Leader magazine and the number two small business in North Carolina on its annual Top 100 North Carolina Small Businesses list. Charlotte Business Journal also ranked NouvEON as number 12 on its 2009 list of Fast 50 Awards for Charlotte's fastest growing private companies.
T.J. Eberle, president and chief executive officer, credits his firm’s growth to an increase in demand for the company’s service offerings. Eberle graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in industrial engineering and operations research and later obtained his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Wake Forest University. He has demonstrated his leadership skills as demonstrated throughout his career in Big 5 Management consulting (Anderson Consulting and Price Waterhouse), private industry (Sea-Land Services) and two start-up consulting firms (Ballantyne Consulting Group and NouvEON) which began his appetite for entrepreneurship.

Name and Branding
Even though NouvEON’s corporate name is NouvEON Technology Partners, Inc., it is branded as NouvEON. The preface “Nouv” is short for the French word “nouveau” or new. EON is an era or generations, signifying a new era in consulting services. [1] Eon is capitalized because it also stands for “employee-owned network” which means that every employee owns a portion of the company.

Eberle is a recognized business leader and entrepreneur in the Charlotte community.
