Northside Methodist Academy

Northside Methodist Academy is a K-12 school located in Dothan, Alabama, on Redmond Road, started in 1975 . Their mission statement is "To train students in the knowledge of God and the Christian way of life while giving every student an excellent education." There are an average 550 students at Northside, as it is a private Christian school. They are currently included in the ACEA, or the Alabama Christian Education Association . Their basketball teams are coached by Mike Johnson . The principal of the school is Mr. Gary Driver .

Clubs

Northside has 9 clubs . They are the computer club, the robotics club, the government club, alpha omega, key club, yearbook, the worship class, the Junior Civitan club, and the art club. The clubs listed are the clubs that are currently meeting. Northside also has a Bible Quiz team coached by Mrs. Roten. Also, both the Junior and Senior Bible quiz teams went undefeated to win at state this year.

Northside Activities

Northside has some after school activities on and off campus. They have a childcare, where anyone can go to if they do not yet have a ride.

Praise and Worship team

God has opened many doors for the 2008-2009 year. Spiritual leaders such as Chris "Doodle" Colby and Josh Turvey have influenced the lives of many 7th graders. Two in particular were to shy to tell them, but Ashleigh Fultz and Lydia Blount want to tell them they are a light for them sent by God.
