No Heart Feelings

No Heart Feelings, an intelligent, off-beat romantic comedy in the mumblecore vein, follows the challenging love life of protagonist Mel. After breaking up with her long-distance boyfriend, Mel meets a new boy, Lewis, with whom she hits it off right away. But she struggles over whether or not she's ready for another capital "R" relationship, and turns to friends and frothy beverages for support. Shot on HDV on a very low budget, the film provides a window into the world of people in their late twenties - long since having exited the college stage of life, but not quite ready to actually settle down. The film is set in and around downtown Toronto, Canada.
