Nintex is an independent software vendor and workflow company with customers in over 90 countries, serviced by a network of partners and service providers. The company has offices in Bellevue (USA), London (UK), Melbourne (Australia) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).

Nintex was founded in 2004 by Brian Cook and Brett Campbell. In October 2010 Macquarie Capital Group Limited agreed to acquire a significant minority interest in Nintex. In March 2013, private equity firms, TA Associates and Updata Partners made a significant investment in the Nintex Group. As a part of this investment, several executives from TA and Updata joined Nintex's board of directors. John Burton was appointed chief executive at Nintex in September 2013.

The company's products include Nintex Workflow, recognized by Forrester analysts as the most utilized third party tool for Microsoft SharePoint, Nintex Forms, Nintex Workflow for Project Server, Nintex Live and Nintex Mobile apps.

Nintex has partners in over 90 countries consisting of value added resellers, hosting partners, OEM partners who incorporate Nintex products into their own products, technology partners who extend Nintex products and training providers. Nintex is also a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.

Recognition

In mid-2014, Nintex was named a finalist in the 2014 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards in the Office and SharePoint App Development category.

The previous year, Nintex was included in Gartner Inc.’s list of “Cool Vendors in Program and Portfolio Management, 2013” (published April 29, 2013) by analysts Robert A. Handler, Matt Light, Jim Duggan, Daniel B. Stang, Donna Fitzgerald, and Elise Olding. The list highlights innovative vendors and their products and services selected by Gartner analysts. In autumn 2013, the Nintex Workflow for Office 365 app was named the winner in the People's Choice, Most Interesting SharePoint Scenario, and Most Downloaded SharePoint App categories at the 2014 SharePoint Conference App Awards. Another of Nintex's cloud apps, Nintex Forms for Office 365, was also honored as a finalist in the People's Choice category and placed third for Most Downloaded SharePoint App at the same event.

Nintex was a selected as a finalist for the Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards 2013 in two categories - the Office/SharePoint App Developer of the Year category and the Project and Portfolio Management Partner of the Year category. Nintex was a top-three finalist in the 2012 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) Awards program in the category of ISV/Software Solutions Partner of the Year; and was a top-three finalist in the 2011 WPC Awards program in the category of Country Partner of the Year for the United States.
