Ngul Min Thang
Ngul Min Thang is the Founder & Co Chair at Green Heritage Club, one of North East India's ’s leading Environment Club advocating Sustainable Development solutions for business sectors and promoting sustainability through joint participation of Youths, Business and Governments. Thang is also the founder of Minte Zalengam Ltd, which he operates from India. He is also one of the Young Global Leaders under the World Economic Forum . In March 2008, Thang Successfully promoted the Youth Led Sustainable Development Agenda in the World Economic Forum's annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland which led the UN-Habitat to set up a Youth Opportunities Fund to promote Youth-led Development in the World’s cities.
Career
Thang has devoted most of his time in promoting Youth Activism, Social Entrepreneurship, Human Rights and Sustainability. His notable works includes, 'My Idea of Justice', KNM, Singapore, 'Strategy for Sustainability', Harvard Business Press, The Kuki Mythologies, and a number of articles revolving around the Idea of Human Rights, Youth Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability. His views on Sustainability has received tremendous responses from the World's Business Leaders.
Philanthropy
Ngul Min Thang is a founding member of the Green Heritage Club (GHC), a leading Social Club in NE India having diverse area of operations and an online platform Kuki Kahi Kakipah E which aims to address important issues facing the Kukis through idea-sharing platforms that serve to positively influence the next generation of leaders. Within the WYF Foundation, Thang is the head of the WYF Fellows, an initiative that brings together twenty of the South Asian’s most innovative leaders - under the age of forty – with the goal of tackling today’s pressing political, environmental, religious and economic issues.
Thang currently serves on the Board of Directors of Endeavor Mexico. Endeavor, an international non-profit development organization that finds and supports high-impact entrepreneurs in emerging markets.
As a successful, young entrepreneur, Thang is dedicated to promoting transparent, sustainable and honest business practices.
