These applications are all Windows applications, however, NetSupport Manager for example allows remote control of additional operating systems to Windows such as Linux, Mac OS X (Intel and PowerPC), Solaris and Pocket PC devices.

NetSupport Manager has been in developed of a period of 15 years and currently has an install base of over 6,000,000+ PCs worldwide. The most recent version, 10.02 supports Microsoft's latest operating system, Windows Vista in both 32-bit and 64-bit varieties. NetSupport Manager allows for connections over a traditional LAN/WAN utilising IPX, NetBIOS or TCP/IP and also provides as standard an Internet Gateway allowing secure communications between remote sites that are each protected by firewalls. To complete the connectivity offering, the latest version provides remote support for mobile devices including Windows CE and Pocket PC including communication over GPRS and 3G. It allows you to watch, share or control the screen, keyboard and mouse of a workstation irrespective of colour depth, resolution, network protocol or operating system. NetSupport Manager also comes with NetSupport Deploy which provides Network Administrators the facility to install and configure NetSupport Manager on multiple workstations from a central site without the need to visit the machines individually.
