Nelly Duff

Nelly Duff is a contemporary commercial art gallery in Shoreditch, London. It is based at the foot of Columbia Road market in the East End of London. IT Works with Ben Eine, The Toaster, and many other internationally-recognised artists. The origin of the name 'Nelly Duff' comes from the Cockney rhyming slang for "Life".

History

Nelly Duff is run by Jessie Dyer and Cassius Colman. The Gallery space was opened in November 2006 and became one of the first physical commercial space for selling street art screen print in London.

The gallery specializes in limited EDition prints in the graphic arts using traditional printing methods such as screen printing, lithography, embossing, hot stamping, linocut and woodblock printing. In 2009 it produced an edition of Ben Eine's work that attempted the Guinness Book of World Records for hand-pulling the most colors in a screen print (78).
