History
Need2Know was set up and founded by Ian Walton in 1989 to provide information for ordinary people covering topics that would help young people, parents, teachers, carers and professionals in an easy to understand format.
Need2Know is a British independent publisher of self-help books and an imprint of Forward Press Limited.
The company’s ethos is to provide accurate and up-to-date ‘need to know’ information on a wide range of everyday subjects that ordinary people face daily. Ian Walton explains: “Removing the information that people don’t need to know is what makes the imprint unique. By simplifying the topics and only including the information you ‘need to know’ it helps ordinary people have a greater understanding of the everyday situations they face”.
