Navona Records
Navona Records (formed in May 2008) is an American independent record label based in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire.
It is the label imprint of the parent company and audio production house PARMA Recordings. The PARMA team has past worked with artists such as Leonard Bernstein, Richard Stoltzman, Yo-Yo Ma, Ken Burns, Gil Rose, Kirk Trevor, and Vit Micka.
The New England-based label's eclectic catalog comprises orchestral, chamber, jazz, progressive, and experimental music. The label’s inaugural CD release was Phoenix in Flight (released September 30, 2008), a repertoire disc from Richard Stoltzman, a two-time Grammy-winning clarinetist. The label has also released music by artists and composers including Jonathan Sacks, Karen Dreyfus, Glenn Dicterow, the Boston String Quartet, and Vit Micka.
