Nain (clan)

Nain (नैन) Nayan (नयन) Nen (नेण) is gotra (clan) of Jats found in North India.

A small number are also found in Pakistan.

History & Origin

The Nain claim Tonwar Rajput origin, and said to have come across the Yamuna, from modern Uttar Pradesh.

They are found in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh states in India.
