Na Krilima Vetra (Riding on the Wings of Wind)
Three bikers present their exciting, 45 day and 10.000km trip from Belgrade, Serbia to Azerbaijan and its capital Baku to the widest TV audience.
The trip takes the crew through less known parts of Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Crimea, Russia and Georgia during which they film their numerous adventures.
In addition to spontaneous chatting with the locals, short comments by the crew members from the video diary, the narrator plays a significant role in connecting the trip and events into a coherent and exciting whole, similar to shows aired on Discovery and National Geographic channels.
The team enters cultural and social life of each city they pass on their journey, paying special attention to the capitals, their motor-clubs, night life, food and landmarks. Each city and locality of interest is planned within the scenario and each of them will have the notice and plan of shooting.
The plot would be enriched by spontaneous and interesting events, typical and overabundant for this manner of traveling, whereby the program would pertain to the features of the reality show.
The series would consist of twelve to fifteen episodes, lasting twenty seven minutes. Each episode would be permeated with occasional video diaries in which the crewmembers would share their excitement, fears and discontent on this unique. It would give the audience an insight in the crew’s deepest feelings on this unique but hard, dangerous and exhausting journey.
Modern camerawork, popular music as well as dynamic and fast montage guarantee the response of younger urban population (who are the target audience). A deliberate approach to culture and history, on the other hand, aims to attract more conservative, elder audience.
Apart from being the first show of its kind, made in this part of Europe it also broadens the boundaries of the reality show genre. It questions the bad reputation of bikers as it introduces the group of modern, educated and well groomed young people.
