N-gage Neo
The N-Gage Neo was a 2005 fan-made concept of what the next generation Nokia N-Gage would look like, however due to confusion, many people have been led to believe it was actually involved with Nokia, however Nokia had nothing to do with the N-Gage Neo and it has never been in production or discussed by Nokia
Former N-Gage General Manager Gerard Weiner told Reuters that Nokia was working on an "improved" version of the tepidly selling N-Gage Game deck, which it would unveil at E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo). However, it was not the N-Gage Neo.
The N-Gage Neo was never designed by Nokia. It was designed for a contest by a fan of the N-Gage. There will be no N-Gage 2 and there never was. Nokia has plans to expand the N-Gage Platform to new N-Series devices such as the N73, N81, N82, N93, N93i and N95. There are 40 games already in development for the Next-Generation N-Gage Platform.
Next-Generation Design
The fan-made design of the Next-Generation N-Gage was similar to the N-Gage and N-Gage QD but had some major differences such as a 16:9 widescreen LCD, a 1.3 Megapixel Camera with LED flash, USB and a front Stereo Loudspeaker, although it was just a fan-made design for a "Design Your Own N-Gage 2" contest.
