My Little Problem

Originally a solo project started by Simon Janes and recorded in his bedroom, My Little Problem are now a seven piece band. Having received airtime by the late John Peel, Simon was asked to play at Brighton Live. He gathered together a band of talented musician friends and the band was formed. 2007 saw the release of their debut album All These Things, released on Life is Easy Records, which is a small indie label based in Brighton and run by Iain Huddy. Although originally more Americana in sound the band had three key member changes in 2007 which enabled them to write the gorgeous post rock soundscapes that they are becoming known for. The band have supported 'Vetiver' Six Organs of Admittance' Husky Rescue''Thee More Shallows' and guitar legend 'Kaki King'. Their use of found sounds and pedals create a sound that is both Orchestral and momentous as their songs often become like a wall of sound. They have been compared to bands like My Bloody Valentine and Goodspeed My Black Empreror.
