México Top 100

The México Top 100 is a weekly-compiled musical chart that shows the top 100 songs in airplay and sales in Mexico. The chart was first compiled in 2003.

The chart favors national and Latin American artists, although many international artists reach top spots as well. Songs that fair well in this chart usually have a bigger chance in meeting success in Latin America.

To date, the chart has had 54 number 1 hits, the first of which was Ricardo Arjona's "El Problema". With the exception of Canadian Nelly Furtado, all of the acts to hit number one are Latin American or Spanish. With 14 weeks at number 1, Ricky Martin's "Tal Vez" is the most successful song of the chart's history. The chart's most prolific artist is Shakira, who has had 4 number 1 singles and has spent 33 weeks at the top of the Top 100.

The chart carries the heavy influence that pop music has in the Mexican music scene. Furthermore, like the influence of American Idol ex-contestants in the Billboard charts, artists to come out of La Academia, a similar reality show, have made a mark on the chart. Four of these ex-contestants have reached number 1, with Yuridia's "Angel" being the most successful of these.

The current number one is "Te Quiero" by [...].
