Mr. Jim's Pizza is a U.S. chain of pizza restaurants based in Farmer's Branch, Texas. The first restaurant was founded in Detroit, Michigan in 1975. In addition to several varieties of pizza, the chain is famous for it's pizza. There are currently over 70 locations in Louisiana, Texas, North Carolina, and Wyoming. One of the distinctive characteristics of Mr. Jim’s Pizza is their crust. Mr. Jim’s claims to have the best tasting crust. This is because their hand stretched pizza dough flour is made from 100% spring wheat with about 14% protein. They make their dough 12 hours before use. If it goes over that, they throw it away. Another unique feature is how to order their pizzas. Mr. Jim’s Pizza has online ordering capabilities like most pizza chains have however; Mr. Jim’s has all franchisee location with this ability, which is a first in the market.
