Mr. Green (producer)

Aaron Green, better known as Mr. Green is a hip hop producer from Highland Park, New Jersey.

History

Most known for producing the critically acclaimed album "The Only Color That Matters is Green" in 2008 with Outsidaz frontman Pacewon, Mr. Green is regarded for his classic hip hop sound . His first production credit came in 2006 when he produced "Childhood" for underground hip hop icon C Rayz Walz' album "The Dropping." The song was significant because although it was a small independent release of only 3000 copies, it featured reggae superstar Matisyahu. Matisyahu went on to perform "Childhood" at his Festival of Lights concert series in December 2008. Mr. Green is also known for his work with international rappers. The song he produced for Irish MC Rob Kelly and Slaine: "Dropkicked" has garnered a big response in the UK and Ireland as well as in Irish communities in the USA, specifically Boston. His work with Tunisian rapper Dragon Balti received worldwide radio play on BBC . In 2007, Mr. Green received his first film credit (beat composer) by producing the theme song for the award winning short film "Song of David" starring Nosson Zand. Songs from his album "Green Future" were featured in the Transworld BMX video "Insight" as well as the 2008 Animal Bikes Promo video. Renowned middle weight Irish boxer Andy Lee uses the aforementioned Rob Kelly song "Dropkicked" as his ring entrance.
