Monarchies in Antarctica
There are presently 3 monarchies in Antarctica (not on the continental landmass, but in the Antarctic region) which are internationally recognised. There are also several Antarctic territorial claims which are partially recognised; 4 of the territories/dependencies are monarchies. None of the monarchies in Antarctica are sovereign independent countries.
Current monarchies
Of all existing monarchies in Antarctica, only the first three of the territories/dependencies in this table are internationally recognised; the rest are Antarctic claims, which have partial recognition.
