Molly Hyde, birth name "Molly Fehr", (born on January 18, 1993 in California) is an American child actress, performing in theater, TV and film.
Hyde lived in the Sierra Nevada mountains, near Lake Tahoe, until the age of 9. She then moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and joined the Young Conservatory at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. Her first ever audition landed her the role of Little Fan, working alongside Steven Anthony Jones in ACT's annual holiday production of A Christmas Carol at the Geary Theater in San Francisco. The following year she was cast in the role of Sally Cratchit in the same production. Hyde performed in over 70 professional performances to full and often sold-out houses. Following her three years at the American Conservatory Theater she decided to start acting in TV and film roles.
Hyde's first role in Los Angeles came from her first headshot submittal, prior to her having a talent agent. This landed her the role of a "featured student" in a PSA television commercial starring Helen Hunt. Following this Hyde was cast in a feature film table read, playing the character of Young Marjorie Maize, which brought her to the attention of a talent manager, resulting in several talent agents wanting to sign her.
She recently played the role of Mary Bell Lewis on Nickelodeon's sitcom, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, in the 2007 Guide to: The Library & Volunteering episode.
