Mohd Fouzuddin

Dr Mohd Fouzuddin was born on May 9, 1963, in India. He is a Homeopathic practitioner and resides in Hyderabad city. He is the grandson of the legendary unani physician late Allma hakeem Kabiruddin, whose knowledge and work on unani system of medicine had become the by word of his time and reference meterial for subsequent generations. Fouzuddin is a [cartoonist]] and a homeopathic practitioner. He has won "the distinction of being the only Indian to be selected for his entry in the catalogue of international cartoon festival", Gabrovo, Bulgaria (2009). Around 799 contestants from all over the world inscribed for the festival and 554 were selected for the exhibition (19th international biennial of humour and satire in arts-Gabrovo 2009). As a cartoonist, he has been able to carve out a special niche in Urdu media of Hyderabad and shares this distinction along with other cartoonists like Shoeb Rabbani and late Wahab Hyder.{{Citation needed}

Career

Fouzuddin graduated in science from Saifabad degree college and homeopathy (BHMS) from J.S.P.S Homeo College. Fouzuddin received recognition for his sense of humour. He has balanced his professional schedule as a Homeopath and a cartoonist. He is devoted to the subject of homeopathy.

His cartoons have been exhibited in an international cartoon exhibition held at Knokke-Heist, Belgium and one of his cartoons figured in the catalogue of the 130 best cartoons published in Belgium in 1991.

Published works

Fouzuddin has been drawing cartoons since 1985. His freelance cartoons appeared in 'Newstime' weekend, The Weekly Sun, 'Alive', Deccan Chronicle, Citizens Evening, Radiance weekly, Nation and the world 'Reader's Digest'. His cartoons has featured in many reputed Urdu news papers like Munsif Daily Hyderabad and Rehnuma-e-Deccan.

The Munsif a leading Urdu daily carried his cartoons on the front pages for 5 years in 1989 his cartoons strip named 'Mr Puri' appeared in the weekly sun and Rx laff was his brain child which was a medical cartoon that appeared regularly in the homeopathic journal 'La Medica'.

He has written a fun book called "Fuzzing Around" which contains poems, grafitti, cartoons, word plays, short stories and limericks

He has also contributed medical articles in siasat a leading Urdu news paper. He also illustrated a book called "Backward history of India" , written by Narender Luther .

His latest book are "Homeopathy for every home , every family" published by shivson publication and Bach flower and tissue remedies published by Sagar herbals .
