Mitsuya Seinosuke

Seinosuke Mitsuya (* in Osaka, Japan) is a Japanese karate-master (8th Dan, Hanshi) and was a long-term student of the late grandmaster Soke Teruo Hayashi (1924 - 2004).

Biography

Seinosuke Mitsuya used to work with his teacher and master Teruo Hayashi at a university-dojo in Osaka. He became his personal assistant for karate and kobudo instructions.

After his graduation he kept on working and travelling with Soke Hayashi in Japan. In 1971, he left Japan and moved to Seattle (USA) as official, international representative of the school of Japan-Karate-Do-Hayashi-Ha-Shitoryu-Kai and became chief-technical instructor of Washington and Oregon. In 1973, he moved to Europe, travelling through Sweden, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Great-Britain, Switzerland and Finland. Today, Seinosuke Mitsuya is among the highest ranking representatives of Hayashi-Ha-Karate-Do & Kobudo, Chief-Master, originator and president of Mitsuya-Kai International.

His most famous and ACTIVE students are Ren-Shi Girolamo Vermiglio (Chief-Representative of Mitsuya-Kai Germany) and Shihan Marco Pilato (Chief-Representative of Mitsuya-Kai Finland).
