Miss Latin America 1992
Miss América Latina 1992 was the ninth international edition of the Miss América Latina contest, and the eleventh overall. The final event was held on November 12, 1992 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. At the conclusion of the pageant, Ana Sofía Pereira of Nicaragua was crowned by outgoing titleholder, María Elena Bellido of Peru. .

Trivia
- Nicaragua participated for the first time. This was the first and, as of 2009, only time that a country won the crown the first year it entered the pageant.
- El Salvador last participated in 1990.
- Despite having competed in 1991, Bolivia, Guatemala and Uruguay did not send a delegate this year. It was the only year Guatemala didn't participate.
- Argentina and Ecuador also placed in 1991.
- Paraguay and Spain last placed in 1989, while Colombia, El Salvador and Venezuela all last placed in 1990.
