Miss Latin America 1985
Miss América Latina 1985 was the third international edition of the Miss América Latina contest, and the fifth overall. The final event was held on September 22, 1985 in Miami Beach, Florida, USA. At the conclusion of the pageant, Victoria Mauríz of the Dominican Republic was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Mirla Ochoa of Venezuela. .

- Louisiana and Massachusetts debuted this year.
- Brazil, Indiana, New Jersey, New Mexico and Uruguay all failed to send delegates despite competing in 1984.
- Colombia, Florida, Panama, Paraguay, Spain and Venezuela had all placed the year before as well. The rest of the placing nations/states (Arizona, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico) had all placed in 1983.
