Korea HQ
Established in 1997, Mirae Asset Financial Group has rapidly grown into Korea's leading independent financial services company. From our headquarters here we are developing a network to bring this success to the world.

Hong Kong
Mirae Asset Global Investments(Hong Kong) was established in 2003 to bring our clients a variety of equities and fixed income funds invested mainly in the Asia Pacific region.

From Hong Kong we manage China funds, Hong Kong funds, regional, global and sector funds, and fixed income funds. Hong Kong is also our bridgehead for expansion into Greater China.

Singapore
Mirae Asset Global Investments(Singapore) was launched in 2004, to develop and manage a range of Asia Pacific ex-Japan regional investments. From our Singapore office, we manage regional funds, regional sector funds and quant funds.

India
Mirae Asset Global Investments(India) will develop a range of investment products. United Kingdom Mirae Asset Global Investments(U.K) will provide various types of funds invested throughout the world.

Vietnam
Mirae Asset MAPS Investments(Vietnam) was established to develop investment opportunities in this fast-growing nation.

Asset management
Mirae Asset Financial Group's asset management operations are currently focused on Asia, which we see as our springboard to the world.

At the heart of our success is our ability to identify value and innovate within proven investment strategies. This saw us launch Korea's first retail investment fund in 1997.

Establishing a presence in strategic locations in Asia enables us to better identify opportunities for our clients.

As our global expansion plans unfold, we anticipate serving new clients in the jurisdictions in which we operate, always building on principles.

Today we continue to apply those principals across all our asset management operations.

Securities
Mirae Asset Securities Established in 1999 we immediately established our credentials as an innovator in Korea's securities sector by introducing comprehensive client-focused asset management services.

The concept has proven enormously successful and Mirae Asset Securities was listed on the Korea Stock Exchange in February 2006.

As the leading distributor of equity funds and with a team of over 1,200, we have since reported the highest EPS and ROE in Korea.

We also offer investment banking, private banking and brokerage services.

Mirae Asset Global Securities(Hong Kong) Established in January 2006, Mirae Asset Global Securities(Hong Kong) is licensed to perform institutional brokerage and investment banking services.

To better serve our clients, the division is on track to offer comprehensive Hong Kong-based asset management services.

Life insurance
With over 1,200 full time professionals and 8,500 planners, Mirae Asset Life Insurance is a full-service life insurance company offering Koreans a broad range of life insurance, investment-linked insurance and retirement products.

We are ranked number one in Korea's defined contribution pension funds. At March 2007 we recorded a solvency margin ratio of 197%.

In addition to variable life insurance policies and retirement pension plans, we offer financial consulting and comprehensive retirement planning services.

Capital
Mirae Asset Financial Group is determined to contribute to economic development by carefully investing in high value added knowledge-based enterprises and providing corporate consulting services.

Mirae Asset Capital Mirae Asset Capital is the founding company of the Mirae Asset Financial Group. Established in 1997, we provide financial consulting, M&A advisory and corporate financing services. Mirae Asset Venture Investment Mirae Asset Venture Investment provides initial funding to promising start-ups, especially in knowledge-based, financial infrastructure and high technology sectors.

Corporate citizenship

Park Hyeon Joo Foundation
Highlighting our determination to give back to the community, Mirae Asset Financial Group established the Park Hyeon Joo Foundation with a grant of KRW7.5 billion in the year 2000.

Children as heads of households The initiative provides assistance to young people who have been forced by circumstance to assume responsibility for their families. Scholarship programs for teenagers Mirae Asset Park Hyun Joo foundation provides tertiary scholarships to students from disadvantaged families who have displayed outstanding academic promise. Building a better world Through this program Mirae Asset Park Hyun Joo foundation identifies selected worthy social welfare initiatives for further funding.
Global investor scholarship
In March 2006, the Mirae Asset Financial Group launched a USD50,000,000 scholarship program to support talented young students and aims to encourage them to become global investment professionals.

In addition to studying at leading universities, the thirty or so annual recipients will be offered internships in various Mirae Asset business units.

For students there are no strings attached. However we hope that the Global Investor Scholarship Program will attract more young Koreans to the global investment sector.
Other initiatives
Mirae Asset Financial Group is committed to corporate responsibility.

In addition to the Park Hyeon Joo Foundation and the Global Investor Scholarship Program, we serve society through a range of initiatives: Volunteering We strongly support members of the Mirae Asset Financial Group team who volunteer for community initiatives. We encourage all our people to become involved in positive activities for a harmonious and prosperous future. Educational programs We sponsor various education and scholarship programs including Economics Class for Children, Teachers for Special Activities (Financial), and Scholarships for Children of Low-Income Families.
