Mira Zivkovich

Mira Zivkovich is the Ellis Island Medal of Honor winning President and CEO of MZI Global Marketing a strategic marketing consulting firm and Dame Commander of the Order of Merit of Savoy.

Background

Zivkovich family has roots in the Krajina territories of Hapsburg, Austria. Zivkovich's great-grandfather held the title of Baron during the Austro-Hungarian period. Zivkovich's father was a photographer for Yugoslav President Tito. Zivkovich grew up in Belgrade, Serbia and immigrated to the United States during the late 1960's.

MZI Global Marketing

Zivcovich credits her background for instilling a love of culture and a deep understanding of the powerful role that heritage and customs play in people's lives that would lead her to form MZI Global Marketing in 1987. The New York City based firm has worked with several Korean government agencies to help introduce Korean designers and manufacturers of organic products to the United States market. They worked with Donna Vinci brands on their 2008 "Malia and Sasha" Obama collection charity event.

Other pursuits

The Order of Merit of Savoy is a dynastic order of the Royal House of Savoy. Zivkovich designed the website for the order and published two books "Royalty & Remembrance" and "The Dynastic Orders of Knighthood and Merit of the Royal House of Savoy" for the order. Zivkovich was instrumental in creating the Slavic Heritage Coalition and organized a "Feast of Love" benefit celebration honoring philanthropist Lillian Booth at the Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral.
