Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani
Mir Hazar Khan Bijarni is a senior parliamentarian from Sindh who has played ACTIVE role in the politics of Pakistan. He is affiliated with the Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) since its inception. Mir Hazar Khan Bijarni belongs to the noble family of Jacobabad. His father Sardar Noor Muhammad Khan Bijarani was also a politician and the chief of the Bijarani tribe.
Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani was first elected to the Provincial Assembly of Sindh twice in 1974 and 1977. Subsequently, Mr. Bijarani was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan in 1997, 2002 and 2008. In 1988, Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani joined the Senate. He has also headed various Ministries as Federal Minister such as DeFence, Health, Housing & Works, Education, Industries and is currently serving as the Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination.
