MindGenius

Originally part of the Gael group of companies, MindGenius has been available commercially since 2001. In March 2008, MindGenius Ltd was formed. In January 2009, MindGenius released the latest version of their mapping product, V2.5, an updated website and new company brand.

Gael has grown into a major player in the field of compliance management across the world and is particularly strong in Healthcare, Aviation and the Service sectors. Its principle application Q-Pulse is used worldwide .

Uses of MindGenius

The MindGenius application is based around the concept of Mind Mapping, allows the user to capture large amounts of disparate information and gives them the ability to view content from different viewpoints.

The MindGenius approach is a questioning approach that is applied in conjunction with the MindGenius application to explore topics, tasks and projects.

Products

Business

MindGenius Business can be used for all aspects of planning but particularly to ensure understanding of a brief and on such tasks as problem solving, brainstorming, meeting management, task management, mind mapping, report writing and presentations, although its application is not limited to these areas.

Education

In Education, the biggest use of MindGenius is in collaborative group learning sessions, although it can also be used by students for essays, projects, reports and studying and to undertake electronic mind mapping and lesson planning. MindGenius is used in many further education establishments .

Technical

MindGenius contains a series of export features. Users can export mind maps to MS Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint and Project. Users also have the option to export to PDF as well as a number of imaging formats .

Microsoft Partners

In September 2008 MindGenius Ltd became certified Microsoft Partners with an ISV / Software Solution competency, and the MindGenius application achieved certified for Microsoft Vista status at the same time.
