Miloš Šćepanović (footballer)
Miloš Šćepanović (born June 28, 1989 in Belgrade) is a Serbian-Canadian footballer playing predominately as a midfielder, he is currently playing for the Serbian White Eagles FC of the Canadian Soccer League.
Career
Šćepanović began soccer at the youth level in Serbia with Partizan Belgrade, until eventually signing with the Serbian White Eagles in 2006. In the their debut season in the league he helped the White Eagles reach the playoffs where in the semifinal match against the Windsor Border Stars he contributed by a scoring a goal in 6-1 victory. But unfortunately the White Eagles came short in the final game against the Italia Shooters where match resulted in a 1-o loss to Serbia. In the 2007 season he helped the Eagles reach their second straight CSL Cup final. But they were defeated 4-1 on aggregate by their rivals Toronto Croatia.
Šćepanović enjoyed a career high season in the 2008 season, where he concluded the season with 6 goals and was a consistent goal scorer for Serbia in their playoff run. On October 11, 2008 in the quarterfinal match against North York Astros Šćepanović scored the opening goal that would later contribute to 2-1 victory. In the following match which featured as the semifinal match he scored the third and final goal in a 3-0 victory over the Italia Shooters. For the third year in row Šćepanović helped the White Eagles reach the CSL final this time they faced the Trois-Rivières Attak. As both teams were tied 2-2 after extra time the match went into a shootout where Šćepanović was one of the three players who had his shoot saved, but his teammates fell through and won the Cup by winning 2-1 on penalties.
International Career
Šćepanović is a member of the Canada U-20 men's national soccer team, he played his debut in Beirut, Lebanon at the tournament "Les Jeux de la Francophonie" in a game against Rwanda national football team and his second game was in the tournament against Congo national football team.
