Michael Meyer (businessman)
Michael Meyer is an American business executive in the travel technology sector. He is the co-founder and president of RateHighway, a company that develops pricing and revenue management software for the car rental industry.
Career
Meyer co-founded RateHighway in 2002. The company develops systems that allow car rental operators to monitor competitor pricing and adjust rates using automated tools.
Prior to founding RateHighway, Meyer worked at Microsoft Consulting Services in Southern California, where he assisted large companies with the development of custom line-of-business applications using Microsoft technologies.
He co-created early internet-based rate shopping tools for the hotel industry, including Check-Rate.com. He later co-created Rate-City.com, a web-based data collection platform for hotel pricing data, which was acquired by TravelClick in 2001.
