Admissions

Master of Business Administration

The MBA programme is a 2 year full-time post-graduate programme, conducted at MERC Institute of Management. On successful completion, the student gets an MBA degree of the University of Pune.

Eligibility:

Graduates in any discipline with min. 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of ST/SC/OBC from Maharashtra State) from a recognized University.

Selection Process:

Candidates must have appeared for any qualifying examination like CET/AIMCET/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/JMET

Group Discussion and Personal Interview Conducted by Competent Authority.

Master of Marketing Management

The MMM is a two year full-time course affiliated to University of Pune.

Eligibility:

Graduates of any faculty from any statutory University with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate shall be eligible for admission to the M.M.M. course.

Intake:

60 seats.

Campus

Computer Centre

The state-of-the-art Computer Lab is equipped with latest branded computers. MERC encourages the students to make extensive use of computer especially in the areas that involve research and analysis. The labs with high speed internet connectivity allow the students to connect with the outer world, learn and practice latest trends and technologies. Multimedia Labs are provided to the students to gain hands-on experience on the subject. In addition, students can connect through the wi-fi connectivity.

Library

MERC has full fledged library equipped with encyclopedic collections, reference and textbooks, periodicals and journals of national and international repute. A spacious reading hall, open till late evenings facilitates the students to use the library after lecture hours. Besides an e-library equipped with on-line journals and research databases such as Pro-Quest is provided.

Auditorium

Guest lectures and seminars are an integral part of all courses at MERC. To facilitate this, State-of-the-art auditorium, equipped with modern audio and video equipments, having a seating capacity of more than 150 students has been provided.

Seminar Halls & Syndicate Rooms

Seminar Halls and Syndicate Rooms, equipped with audio-visual equipments, are provided for conducting Seminars, Workshops, Presentations, Guest Lectures, Brain Storming sessions, Case studies and other interactive sessions. Relating theory to real life becomes possible when eminent personalities from industry share their experiences, opinions and working methods with the students. Regular seminars and workshops act as an interface between the corporate and the students.

Discussion Room

The Discussion Room- Interaction and Enhancement of IDeaS Across the table interaction between the students and the professionals from the industry takes place here. It is well equipped with audio-visual aids and learning facilities.

Classrooms

The classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated and well-lit with comfortable seating arrangements, The audio-visual aids like LCD Projectors are fixed in each classroom to create a unique learning experience. The atmosphere resonates with vibrations of knowledge.

Hostel, Canteen & Mess

Hostel facilities separately for boys and girls with modern amenities. Each room has sufficient space, is well ventilated and has attached bath-cum-toilet. The rooms are fully furnished. Campus has well equipped vegetarian mess facilities & Canteen.
