Mendel patrol

Mendel Patrol is a Filipino comedy organization, which is part of IBS-CBN. The group finds humor in real news. Its current slogan is Panig sa Kalokohan, Panig sa Katotohanan, ("Sides for Naughtiness, Sides for the Truth").

History

Launch

The organization was founded in Taguig Science High School on June 12 2013, with its first post on Facebook and on a Weebly site.

August to November 2013

The group's original slogan was "Panig sa Kalokohan, Panig sa Katuwaan ng Mamamayan (Sides for Naughtiness, Sides for the Happiness of the people)". They changed it to better reflect the content of the Mendel Patrol. At first the group focused only on comedy, but in November 2013 it began including real news and news satire articles.

Suitable for all ages. Content in the news is suitable for all children.

Parental Guidance / Patnubay at Gabay (“PG”)

Parental guidance suggested. Content in the news may contain some adult material. Children are allowed to view this kind of material under the supervision of adults or parents. To adhere to the PG rating, the news contains:

• Theme - situations and subject matter that is appropriate for children and teens 18 years old and below.
• Language - no foul words.
• Violence - it should not glamorize scenes with weapons and crimes. It should not contain a person suffering. No human interaction or animals that will be harmed.
• Drugs - it should not glamorize nor encourage viewers on steps or procedures in taking drugs .
