Mark Jacobs is an Emmy Award-winning American film and television director, writer, producer and cinematographer, best known for directing the reality television series Breaking Bonaduce.
Biography
A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mark Jacobs spent six years in the United States Army before entering the television industry in the late 1970s. He has shot, edited and directed both video and film productions for the ABC, CBS, Fox Broadcasting and UPN networks, the cable-TV network ESPN, and Spanish-language network Televisa International, and the productions companies King World, Tribune, Discovery, Michael Mann Films and Aaron Spelling Productions. TV series on which he has worked include Breaking Bonaduce, MTV's Rob & Big, Beauty & The Geek, SuperGroup, and The Biggest Loser. He wrote, shot, edited and directed the documentary Jesse's Story.
In addition, he has produced stage, video, and film launches for computer and automotive clients.
In 2007, Jacobs worked on the Fox reality TV series Anchorwoman, scheduled to debut Aug. 22, 2007.
He is a board member and creative director for the organization Life Rolls On.
